First details of CIS Minor Championship 2017 were announced

The company StarLadder has informed about first details of qualifications to the upcoming tournament CIS Minor Championship 2017. The qualification to CIS Minor Championship 2017 — Krakow will be carried out on May 13-14 in an open format and will consist of 512 participants from 12 European countries. All interested teams from the following list of countries can take part in the selection: Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. All open stage matches up to 1/4 will be played to one victory (BO1), and quarter-finals and above – to two wins (BO3). Four finalists will be held in the next stage – closed qualifications.

StarLadder will announce more details about the Minor tournament next week.

May we remind you that the PGL Major Krakow 2017 format implies a series of minor qualifications that will take place in the regions: Asia, America, Europe and the CIS. The finalists of the regional selection will pass to the basic qualification, where together with the eight outsiders ELEAGUE Major 2017 will compete for places in the major. PGL Major Krakow 2017  is scheduled for July 16-23, 2017. The venue will be the Polish city of Krakow, where the group stage will be held in the organizers’ studio, and the playoffs can be seen on the Krakow Arena, which seats up to 18,000 spectators. The prize fund remains unchanged, compared to the last three tournaments with the support of Valve, and is $ 1 million.
